„Your Czech Family Tree — and the Living Relatives You Never Knew About“

30 years of experience reading Czech archives, old handwriting, and forgotten family stories — so you don’t have to.

WHY WORK WITH SOMEONE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Searching for Czech ancestors from abroad is hard. Records are handwritten in old Czech or German script that most people — including many professional researchers — simply can’t read. Archives are scattered across small towns, not digitized, and often accessible only in person. And even when you find a name, you’re left wondering: is there anyone from this family still there?

That’s where I come in.

I’ve been doing genealogical research for over 30 years, professionally for the last 13. I live in the Czech Republic, I read old handwriting fluently, and I know which archive to visit, which parish register to request, and how to track a family line back through centuries of Czech history. I also speak English fluently, so nothing gets lost in translation — literally or otherwise.
